Carla has a background in education as a Geography teacher and Assistant Head teacher, both at secondary level. She has always been passionate about making a difference to children's lives. Four years ago Carla was drafted in to Co-Chair a local pre-school which was judged as 'Requires Improvement' by Ofsted. She led and implemented changes that gained an 'Outstanding' judgement just 12 months later. Carla brings her skills and expertise to drive the charity and make a positive impact on children's lives.
Adam Turner - Co-Founder, Trustee and Treasurer
Adam has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years and brings these skills to his role as Treasurer. He is excited by the potential of innovative, ground-breaking technologies to further medical research.
Pippa Whettell - Trustee
Pippa has been a trustee of Eva’s Friends since the charity’s inception, bringing 12 years charity employment experience with her, where her role focused on Fundraising and Marketing Procurement. Pippa is a Law graduate and currently works at Johnson & Johnson covering marketing procurement for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Pippa is passionate about her involvement with Eva’s Friends saying “I am proud to be part of this charity striving to make a difference in these rare but vital areas of research.”
