We are Eva’s Friends a UK charity funding research into rare
neurological conditions in children. Our
registered charity number is 1176031 in England and Wales.
What information do we collect?
If you have consented to be on our mailing list we will contact you via
email to give you information about our fundraising activities or news and updates
on our charity. You have the right to
unsubscribe from this list at any time by sending an email to email@example.com
with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line.
This policy has been compiled in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are welcome to email us at any time to find out what information we hold about you and to have this changed or removed.
How do we use your information received by our fundraising platform BT MyDonate?
We use BT MyDonate as a platform to collect donations. The information gathered allows us to see who has made a donation, how much the donation is for and whether Gift Aid has been claimed. Every donor can decide whether they consent to Eva’s Friends contacting them in the future at the point of making a donation. Total donations will be tracked (but not the names of individual donors unless the individual donor allows this).

HMRC details the
need to retain your Gift Aid declarations and details of any gifts for six
years after the date of your last gift to charity.
We keep all your information safe
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service, to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to achieve this. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website -- standard internet log information (including your IP address) and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form -- will be transmitted to and stored by Google including on servers in the United States. Google will anonymise the information sent by removing the last octet of your IP address prior to its storage. According to Google Analytics terms of service, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website and compiling reports on website activity for the European Council.
Eva’s Friends will not use or allow any third party to use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to this site. Google may transfer the information collected by Google Analytics to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. According to Google Analytics terms of service, Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
By using this website, you consent to the
processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google
visit should not be sent to Google Analytics.
We will only use the information for the
purposes where we have your permission to do so in accordance with this privacy
policy and our terms & conditions, as well as where it is required or
